Training goal
The training aims to:
- Proper use of firefighting equipment against fires
- Application of personal and ship safety procedures
- Responding to fire threats
- Preventing fires through occupational health and safety knowledge
Requirements
Prerequisites:
- Valid certificate in basic fire protection training
- Or certificate that expired no more than 1 year before training start
- 6-month sailing practice completed within 5 years before training
Certificate
Certificate issued by Maritime Office, valid for 5 years, requires renewal at training center.
