Certificate issued by the Maritime Office, valid for 5 years, requires renewal at a training center.

Taking actions related to first aid procedures included in the training program, particularly:

• Recognizing cardiac arrest in adults
• Managing an unconscious patient
• Performing CPR for adults
• Conducting defibrillation
• Positioning the patient in recovery position
• Controlling bleeding
• Recognizing and dressing fractures
• Treating thermal and electrical burns
• Managing patients in shock
• Recognizing and providing emergency treatment for abdominal and chest conditions
• Handling suspected sexually transmitted and tropical diseases
• Performing gastric lavage
• Recognizing poisoning
• Confirming death and identifying irreversible signs of death

• Posiadanie ważnego świadectwa przeszkolenia w zakresie sprawowania opieki medycznej nad chorym lub świadectwa, które utraciło ważność nie dłużej niż rok temu
• Posiadanie ważnego świadectwa przeszkolenia w zakresie elementarnych zasad udzielania pierwszej pomocy (EFA) oraz zasad udzielania pierwszej pomocy (MFA)
