Radar and ARPA Usage Training at Management Level is a specialized course for maritime officers preparing for captain or senior officer roles. The training focuses on advanced use of radar systems and automatic radar plotting aids (ARPA) in navigation safety management, including collision avoidance decisions and movement monitoring.

Training goal
Assessing system errors and understanding modern navigation systems, conducting safe navigation in poor visibility conditions, evaluating navigation information from all sources including radar and ARPA when issuing and executing commands to avoid collisions and ensure safe ship navigation, optimal use of all available navigation data for safe sailing.
