Training preparing for the role of Ship Security Officer (SSO) according to IMO Model Course 3.19. Participants will gain skills in ship security management and cooperation with port and company security officers.

Training goal
The training aims to:
- Identify security threats
- Maintain composure in emergency situations
- Manage relationships with crew and passengers
- Assess risks without security measures
- Maintain and supervise the ship security plan
- Conduct regular security inspections
Requirements
Prerequisites:
- 12 months of sea service experience on seagoing vessels
- 1 photo for documentation
Certificate
Certificate issued by the Maritime Office, valid indefinitely.
